What is Chilled in Diablo 4

Mainly used by Sorcerers and Rogues, the Chilled ability is a debuff that primarily reduces enemy movement speeds. If an opponent is repeatedly chilled, they will be completely frozen. If an opponent is “Frozen”, that can be due to this particular ability.

Further, there are a bunch of skills and aspects that are related to the Chilled Ability. Here’s a bit about them!

Skills

For the Sorcerer Class

Frost Bolt – A bolt of frost is thrown at your enemy that deals XX% of damage, which will further Chill them by 15%.

Frozen Orb – An orb is unleashed that chills for a total of 34% and, at the same time, expels piercing shards. These shards further deal a total of XX damage, and once they expire, Frozen Orbs explode, dealing some additional damage and chilling enemies for another 9%.

Cold Front- XX% of additional Chill if you have an active Barrier.

Blizzard- A blizzard will be summoned that’ll deal XX% of damage, which will chill the enemies by about 18%, and this effect lasts for 8 seconds.

Hoarfrost- Additional Damage is dealt to Chilled enemies and some extra to Frozen ones.

Deep Freeze- You’ll encase yourself in ice, granting you immunity for about 4 seconds. This will further chill enemies for 14% and deal another 25% damage. Once Deep Freeze expires, it grants another 100% of the damage (double). Casting it once again will end the effect early.

For the Rogue Class

Frigid Finesse- An XX% of damage increase is seen towards the chilled enemies. The bonus increases with some additional damage against completely Frozen enemies.

Cold Imbuement- Your weapons will be imbued with certain frigid energies. Cold damage will be dealt by the next two of your Imbue able skills, and the enemy will be chilled XX% per hit.

Chilling Weight- Enemies that are chilled will lose some of their movement speed by up to XX%.

That’s everything there is to know about the “Chilled” status effect and its skills in Diablo 4.
