Here are the five difficulties in World War Z:
- EASY – Starter Difficulty
Players start with medkits. The zombie threat is reduced and friendly fire is minimal. - NORMAL – Recommended for classes above level 5
Players start with medkits. The zombie threat level is normal and friendly fire sensitivity is minimal. - HARD – Recommended for classes above level 15
The zombie threat level and friendly fire sensitivity are increased. There are less supplies spread throughout the map. - VERY HARD – Recommended for classes above level 20
The zombie threat level and friendly fire sensitivity are significantly increased. Supplies spread throughout the map are scarce. Player character will die instantly after 2 incapacitation. - INSANE – Recommended for classes above level 25
Zombies are relentless. Friendly fire is unforgiving. Supplies throughout the map are scarce. Player character will dies instantly after 1 incapacitation.
So choose your difficulty wisely because difficulty settings in World War Z have a huge impact on the game.
