Because of the THV-GenMod, some of the new infected have mutated themselves into much more aggressive and powerful zombies called Revenant. You can find them in the GRE Anomalies, and defeating them grants you Combat Points, and you can loot Inhibitors as well. So in this article, we will show you where to find the GRE Anomalies in Dying Light 2.
It has been a couple of weeks now since the Dying Light 2 game has been released. And we were very excited to play it from the launch day itself. Steam reported a whooping 150K players online at the same time on the platform on the release date, which made Techland’s Dying Light 2 launch, one of the biggest releases this year.
This game is a follow-up to the original 2015 Dying Light game, which again fuses the zombies with parkour mechanics along with a stealth element added in their latest edition. It is set in the European city of Villedor and you have to play as Aiden Caldwell, a pilgrim. The game is always known for its smooth parkour movements and responsive environments.
You can climb almost anything on the map and jump from very high surfaces. It feels breathtaking in first-person view. As the whole city of Villedor is overrun by the zombies, much like its prequel, you would have to fight and dodge all the bandits and the undead to complete the quests.
As mentioned earlier, this new Dying Light 2 game features Revenant, a form of mutated infected which you will find in GRE Anomalies. Those areas are explorable at night time, and you can loot items. You will also get Combat points if you defeat the Revenants. So in this article, we will show you where to find the GRE Anomalies in Dying Light 2.
What are GRE Anomalies
GRE Anomalies are spots that are scattered all over the map, indicated with a skull symbol. In these GRE Anomalies, you will have to fight the Revenants. Defeating the Revenants earns you combat points, and you can also loot the inhibitors in the GRE Anomalies.
When you get to the GRE Anomaly, you will deal with both the Revenant and the other infected zombies. To find the inhibitor, first, defeat the Revenant and open a military container with the GRE crate. You can find the inhibitors inside. Also, don’t forget to loot the Revenant and earn an infected trophy that you can use to upgrade your weapons.
Not only that, by completing the GRE anomalies, you will also be granted achievements like “It wasn’t that hard, was it” once you infiltrate the first GRE Anomaly, and the second one “revenants” when you infiltrate all the GRE Anomalies in the Dying Light 2 game.
