How to get a House in Dragon's Dogma 2

How to buy a house in Dragon’s Dogma 2

There are three primary ways of getting a house in DD2.

Complete the Side Quest A Place to Call Home [Vernworth]

You can purchase a house in Vernworth as a part of this side quest called “A Place to Call Home.” Start the quest by talking to an NPC known as Mildred. You will be able to find her near the East of Stardrop Inn. You can sit on a bench to pass the time if you don’t see him in the alley.

Mildred is the landlady of that house and will require you to take care of her house for a week since she has to leave immediately. Remember to access this inn for a week (in-game time). She will offer you the chance to sell the house for 20000G as soon as she returns. You can either buy it or reject it. But remember that rejecting her will restrict your entry to the house until you buy it.

Buy the house that the NPC Sells at the Noble Quarters [Vernworth]

Get to the Noble Quarter once you reach Vernworth, and you will meet Salvatore, who will offer you the chance to sell his house for 200000G.

Buy the house from Adrea [Bakbattahl]

As soon as you reach the city of Bakbattahl, you will come across a beastren known as Adrea. She will offer you to sell a house for 30000G.

Should you buy Houses in Dragon’s Dogma 2?

Yes, you should buy yourself a house in Dragon’s Dogma 2. The primary reason is to prevent yourself from paying accommodation fees to rest or get a convenient location to access your storage. The cheapest house that you can purchase in the game is 20000G. However, each rest in an Inn will cost you a total of 2000G; honestly, the high accommodation costs are the sole reason for getting yourself a house. You can purchase your home quickly if you save up on ten rests.

Also, resting helps you recover your health and enables you to save the game so that you can load it back up whenever you want.

So that was all about getting a house in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
