Starfield Editions – Starfield is an Action Role Playing Game developed and published by Bethesda Studios. It is an open-world Single Player Shooter Game available for Xbox Series S and Series and Microsoft Windows as well. The game has been built with Creation Engine 2 and includes a switch between the first and third-person perspectives. If you love Outer Space adventures, then Starfield is the only game that you should be eyeing on. With that being said, the game was initially announced back at E3 2018, and it has been on the hype train ever since. The Game Awards have also nominated Starfield for being the Most Anticipated Game once it was announced.

There are a total of four different editions that you buy for Starfield. These are

  1. Standard Edition
  2. Digital Premium Edition
  3. Premium Edition Upgrade
  4. Constellation Edition

Starfield Standard Edition

The Starfield Standard Edition includes the Starfield Base Game and the Pre-order bonuses, which include the Old Mars Skin Pack. This pack has three exclusive items available only if you pre-order the game. The items include:

  1. Laser Cutter
  2. Deep Mining Helmet
  3. Deep Mining Pack

However, remember that if you have the Xbox Game Pass subscription, you can play it for free, and in that case, you will also get the Old Mars Skin Pack as a preorder bonus along with the Standard Edition of the game.

Starfield Digital Premium Edition

The Digital Premium Edition only includes everything that the Standard Edition offers, including the Old Mars Skin Pack, but it also adds in the Premium Edition bonuses, which features:

  1. The Starfield Base Game (Default)
  2. Shattered Space Story DLC Expansion
  3. A Constellation Skin Pack, which includes an Equinox Spacesuit, Helmet, Laser Rifle and a Boost Pack
  4. Starfield Digital Artbook and Original Soundtrack

Also, remember that purchasing the Digital Premium Edition gets the game unlocked and ready for you to play five days before the original release date so that you can explore the Outer Space before the Standard Edition players.

Starfield Premium Edition Upgrade

If you have the Starfield Standard Edition on your Xbox Game Pass Subscription, you might want to upgrade it to the Premium Edition to enjoy all its benefits so that you don’t miss out on anything. Not many games offer Game Upgrades, but Starfield did a great job adding an Edition Upgrade Pack to upgrade from the Standard to the Premium Edition easily.

To clear things out, these are the following that you will receive when you get the Digital Edition of the Premium Edition Upgrade.

  2. 5 Days Early Access (You will need a Gamepass Subscription or the Digital Version of the Game)

The Constellation Edition is the flagship Edition of all the Starfield Editions that we have discussed above. This Physical edition includes the “Old Mars Skin Pack” as an in-game Preorder bonus. Apart from that, you will also receive the following in-game items like:

  2. Credit Stick with Laser Etched Game Code
