How to play Starfield on Xbox one?

Starfield Xbox One – Starfield is being released for a very limited number of platforms – PC and Xbox Series X/S. However, you could technically play the game on an Xbox One as well. It isn’t a native console for the game’s release as it’s quite questionable whether the console would be able to run it smoothly. Nevertheless, players have found a way to play the game Starfield on Xbox One, and if you’re wondering how you could do the same, keep reading till the end!

This doesn’t come without terms and conditions, though. You’re going to need a few things before you’re able to play Starfield on your Xbox One. As we’ve mentioned, it does seem like the game might be a little too much for the Xbox One to handle, but if you’re willing to move forward anyway, here’s what you need to do in order to play Starfield on your Xbox One:

How to play Starfield on Xbox One?

First things first, you’ll be needing an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, one feature that comes along with the Game Pass Ultimate Subscription is the fact that it makes games playable on the Xbox Cloud, thereby making it possible for Xbox One players to play games that have been released for the Xbox X/S. This isn’t the best way to play Starfield, of course, as cloud gaming is still in quite an early stage. However, at least now, it’s possible for you to play Starfield on your Xbox One!

The game pass is a win-win as it’ll give you access to the game as well as allows players to play on their Xbox Ones. Starfield will be launching as an Xbox Game Pass game from the first day of its release. Further, for players who want to play the game before it releases officially, they’ll need to purchase it for an extra $34.99 (USD).

Finally, it’s quite unclear if players on the Xbox One will be able to play the game in its early access stage (from the 1st of September 2023), but we’ll find out very soon. For the best experience of the game, we do recommend not to play Starfield through the Xbox Cloud-gaming system; however, if that’s the only option you’ve got, go for it; maybe you’d like it.
