How to add and play with friends in Tekken 8
To play Tekken 8 with friends, you need to add them first. To add friends in Tekken 8 you need to
- Start Tekken 8.
- As you boot into the game head over to the Tekken Fight Lounge from the Main Menu.
- Make sure you and your friend have selected the same region.
- As you enter the lounge, you need to press the Menu button and select the Community Option.
- Select the option “Players in the Lounge”
- Search and find your friend’s profile and select it to bring up some of the options.
- Send them a Friend request and select Yes when prompted.
- You will need to wait for them to accept the request inside the “Waiting for Approval” section under the Friend List Tab that you will find inside the Community.
- As they accept your request, you will be friends with them on Tekken 8.
If you are playing Tekken 8 on your PS5 or Xbox then you can send them a request from the Friend List section under the Community Tab as here you will be able to find all your Console friends. If you want to add players from different platforms, make sure you have the Crossplay enabled.
Once you have added your friend, follow these steps to invite them
- Find and select the Player Match option under the Online tab that you will find on the Main Menu.
- Select the “Create a Session” option.
- You can also add a code in the Advanced Settings if you wish to keep your Session private.
- Once you are inside the session, simply press the Sub-Menu button
- You will get the option of Inviting a Friend.
- Select the Friend that you want to invite.
- Wait for them to accept your request and you will be able to play against each other.
