How to enable or disable Crossplay in Tekken 8

If you have bought Tekken 8, then as soon as you boot up the game for the first time, you will be given an option whether you want to keep the crossplay enabled or disable it. By default, it will be turned on, but if you want, you can also turn it off. The option will be labeled as Cross Platform Play. After setting your desired option, press the Enter button on your keyboard. If you think you are better without the Crossplay, then you can open up the Game Option Settings, and you will be able to turn it off by simply pressing right or left.

How to play with different players from different platforms

Once you have the Crossplay option enabled, you will be able to see the other players joining the Tekken Lounge. Here, you will be able to play the different group matches against the players who are connected to the lobby. You can also play Tekken 8 with your friends and have one of them set up the Player match while the other player is invited to join in. When joining the Quick and the Ranked matches, you will be prompted with the question of whether you want to play with Crossplay enabled or not because of the “Platform Restriction” Slider. Remember that if you want to get paired with the other platform players, make sure you have the feature on.

Rollback Netcode in Tekken 8

The excellent news is Tekken 8 is available with the Rollback Netcode. You will also see the delayed frames at the bottom right corner and the rollback frames. Although you cannot disable this feature, you can customize it to suit your requirements. You will find this option inside the Game Option Settings menu called Roll Back Setting, and it will have three different modes.

  1. Prioritize Fluidity
  2. Prioritize Response
  3. Standard

Out of the above three, the Standard settings provide the best of both the modes available for you.

So this was all about how to enable or disable Crossplay in Tekken 8.
