Flexwood in Lego Fortnite – How to get

With the new mode of playing Fortnite, which is an open-world building and survival and which is already a fan-favorite, a lot of players have put in their hours into the game as they build their own world, explore, and level up in the game, Lego Fortnite. As you keep on progressing in the game, there are a few tasks that you need in order to level up a few features, which seems fair. However, these tasks do tend to get a bit too tricky. One such task that players have been struggling with is getting Flexwood. But don’t worry, it is not impossible, keep reading to find out how you can get Flexwood in Lego Fortnite!

Where and how to get Flexwood in Lego Fortnite

Here is what you need to do:

  1. You will have to head to a Dry Valley Biome (borders grasslands) to get Flexwood.
  2. Then, you will have to look for a cacti plant. This is fairly easy. You spawn into the grass biomes, which are surrounded by the desert biomes, which are filled with the plant.

  3. Chop it using a Rare Forest Axe. This is the part where things get tricky. Read below to find out how so.
  4. You will get Flexwood.

Crafting the Rare Forest Axe: Make sure that your Crafting Bench is at the level where it can craft Rare level items. You will need the following materials:

  • 5 Cut Amber (you can get it cut from a Gem Cutter)
  • 3 Knotroot Rods (you can craft it from a Lumber Mill)

Then, you can craft the axe.

It is not collecting Flexwood that takes time; it is leveling up, and finding these materials takes longer to craft the Rare Forest Axe. But this is not what I did to get my Flexwood in Lego Fortnite. Here is what I did:

  1. This method doesn’t require any sort of axe, and it is pretty easy.
  2. When you reach the Desert biome where the Cacti are present, you need to look for Dinosaurs.
  3. Once you find one, shoot it with a crossbow, and stand at a location where there are a lot Cacti nearby.
  4. The Dinosaur will charge towards you and break the tree.
  5. Now, just collect the Flexwood, and you are good to go.
