Best M4 Loadout in Modern Warfare 2

M4 class setup MW2 – The M4 has been in Call of Duty sequels since the beginning of its time. It is one of the most reliable weapons in the game, even though it’s unlocked on level one in the new Modern Warfare 2.

It is the first preference of many players, considering its damage output and speed.

Don’t mistake it for being a mediocre beginners weapon, as even the most basic version of it could pack a punch.

In this article by Frondtech we’ll guide you with the best possible loadout you could make with the M4, so without further ado, let’s get into the customization of the weapon:

Best M4 Loadout in Modern Warfare 2

Let us start with the attachments, there can be a maximum of 5 attachments that could be added to the m4, excluding the Receiver, of course.

The following attachments aim to maximize your control while maintaining the damage output and the speed of the weapon. Here they are:

Best M4 Loadout in COD MW2

  • Receiver: M4
  • Muzzle: Echoline GS-X
  • Barrel: Hightower 20” Barrel
  • Rear Grip: Sakin ZX Grip
  • Stock: Corio Precio Factory
  • Optic: Cronen Mini Pro

We’ll be primarily focusing on making the weapon as controllable as possible, maintaining the movement speed while increasing the range, stability, and overall control of the weapon.

With the barrel of the weapon we decided to go with the Hightower 20” barrel, this is by far one of the best attachments for the m4, as once equipped.

It will enhance your recoil control, the damage range as well as the bullet velocity. That’ll make medium-ranged combat a lot easier for you, as there’ll be less recoil to deal with and the faster velocity of the bullets will make sure you get the kill quickly.

For the muzzle, we went with the Echoline GS-X suppressor. Pair the suppressor with the ZX grip and the Corio Precio Factory stock, and you’ll see a remarkable decrease in the recoil output of the weapon.

Best Secondary Weapon for M4

The Secondary Weapon: We suggest that you go with the Expedite 12 Shotgun.

You could use the M4 to hold angles and engage in medium-range fights, however, if you find yourself in a situation where the enemy is much closer, switch to the Expedite 12.

Shotguns are the best CQC weapons in Modern Warfare 2 hands down. The one-shot ability that you get with shotguns, could come really handy when holding points inside small rooms.

Best Equipments for M4

Equipment: As with the equipment, we’d recommend that you go with the Stim shot, paired with the Thermite Grenade.

The Stim shot might be a lifesaver in situations, as popping one would take about 2 seconds, but it’ll restore your health to the maximum it can be, and it’ll also restore your sprint cooldown, making sure that you’ve still got the movement speed.

As with the Thermite Grenade, if your enemies are all close enough to each other, tossing in a Thermite Grenade would basically guarantee you the multi-kill.

Best Perks for M4

Lastly, the Perks. After all the damage we’re packing up above, you’re going to need a good combination of the perks we’ve got just the right combo for you, so here it is:

For starters, go with the Overkill perk, which will make sure that you’re able to carry two primary weapons, the M4 and the Expedite 12 in this case.

Secondly, we suggest you go with the Double Time perk, which allows you to sprint around the map for twice as long.

For your bonus perk, we propose that you go with fast hands, which allows you to switch between your Shotgun and the M4 quicker.

Lastly, for your ultimate perk, it’s recommended that you go with the Quick Fix perk, using which you’ll auto-regen some health every time you get a kill. That’ll make engaging in multiple combats one after another much more convenient and faster for you.

That sums up everything we had regarding the best M4 loadout in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022).
