What is Malignant Heart in Diablo 4?

In this new Season of Malignant, Season 1 of Diablo 4, players can get Malignant Hearts by defeating the corrupted enemies in the game. Then, with Infested Sockets, they can be inserted into your Rings and Necklaces to activate the unique effects. In the game, there are a total of 32 Malignant Hearts.

How to use Malignant Hearts in Diablo 4?

The Rings and Necklaces you obtain in the Season of Malignant, in Diablo 4, may have Colored Infested Sockets. Malignant hearts can fit into these to activate their unique effects. To use them, players must remember to match the color of the Infested Socket on their piece of Jewelry with the type of Malignant Heart. If there are no such sockets on your Jewelry, you can simply head to the Jeweler and get it added there, which will have a random color.

A special kind of Malignant Heart is also in the game, called ‘Wrathful’. They are pretty unique as they can be inserted into any of the colored Infested Sockets, unlike the others. Although, keep in mind that these are pretty rare and quite difficult to find.
