- Find a weapon crate or box

- Go near it and pick up that weapon
[Note : If you want to unlock upgrades for your default character weapon or the weapon you spawned with then just hold on to it and skip step 2 and 3]
Step 4
- Now just start using that weapon and kill as many zombies as possible
Step 5
- Complete your mission
Step 6
- After the mission ends you will be get weapon XP to the weapons you have used during your mission
Step 7
- Once your weapons level up after getting enough XP, new upgrades will unlock for them
So, if you want to level up a weapon and unlock upgrades for it fast, then keep picking up that weapon whenever you see it in every mission and continue using it till the end of every mission.
