Butterflies Hogwarts Legacy – Hogwarts Legacy is one of my current favorites, having over 25+ hours already on Steam doing main and side missions. It is one of those games that can keep you glued to your seats. The game features a lot of interesting side quests that you can attempt, complete and collect exclusive side quest items and gears.
One such quest you will come across is Following the Butterflies Quest, where you will have to follow butterflies that will lead you to a treasure in the Forbidden forest. But how do you start the Butterflies quest?
So this article will guide you on how to find the Butterflies that lead to a hidden treasure in Hogwarts Legacy.
Where to find butterflies in Hogwarts Legacy
To find the butterflies, you must attempt a quest called “Following the Butterflies.” This quest will be given to you by Clementine Willardsey. You will be able to find Clementine Willardsey inside The Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade. She tells you that you must follow the butterflies in the Forbidden Forest. Clementine fears venturing into the Forbidden forest alone because she hears stories about how horrible and dangerous the forest is as it is filled with giant Thornback Scurriour Spiders. She also adds that she is curious to know where the butterflies go in the woods. So you are tasked with getting into the forbidden forest and finding the butterflies.
As soon as you control your character, run towards the outskirts of Hogsmeade and press Tab and Numpad 3 to get on to your broom. Remember that you will take a lot of time if you travel on foot. Since Fast Travel was not unlocked for that region during playing, so we had to rely on my broom to take me there. Follow the white marker on the minimap and fly towards it.
As soon as you reach the forest, descend by pressing the Ctrl and pressing B to descend from the broom. As soon as you are near that location, you will be able to see a bunch of red and blue butterflies.
But as you get near them, they will start flying away, and now your main objective is to follow them. Continue following them, and use the Revelio Spell to see if you are missing out on anything. I have got some Leech Juice on the banks of the water bodies.
Following them won’t be challenging because the butterfly logo on the minimap will move according to the butterflies and will stay inside the purple gradient area only. After following them, you will find them flying on top of a chest that is kept on a bed of yellow and purple flowers. Press F to search for the treasure.
After finding and searching the treasure basket, you must return to Miss Clementine Willardsey. You will also find some Thornback Scurrior enemies you can defeat to progress through challenges and claim rewards.
Get back to Miss Willardsey at the Three Broomsticks and let her know that you have found a treasure by following those butterflies, and after this cutscene, the quest concludes.
