Starfield: Starborn Trader Location
Also known as the Mysterious Captain, the Starborn Trader can only be accessed once you’ve completed the main campaign and started with “New Game Plus”. If you haven’t yet, we’re sorry to say that you’ll have to visit this guide later, as the Trader isn’t available to all other players.
If you’ve made it this far into the guide, we assume you have all the above points checked, and without further ado, let’s get right into it. As you step into Unity and start your journey, you’ll have only your power, level, and skills. Everything else, all weapons, gear, and other materialistic items, will be lost forever, and as you’re getting a fresh start, you’ll need them back. The Mysterious Captain will allow you to get your hands on a few rare items, and he probably is your very first lead towards obtaining some good stuff. Here’s where you can find him-
First, to be precise, you’ll be required to set course towards the Feynman Star System-Planet Feynman I. As you get closer towards the planet, the Captain will, on his own, initiate a conversation with you. In the same conversation, he will advertise his inventory to you, and you’ll have an option to purchase items within the same prompt.
In the menu presented to you are both items of the Rare and Legendary categories, followed by some other unique resources. The pricing of these items isn’t cheap at all, though, due to easier availability, they’re priced at a decently high amount. The Trader’s stock keeps changing over time. We don’t know the cycle of it as of right now; however, do know that he’ll have some goodies each time you visit him!
