Starfield: How to Read Job’s Done Slate in Deputized

It is not a news flash that Starfield has a ton of missions. A wide variation of main missions, side missions, and a lot of activities throughout the universe. Most of these activities are pretty easy to take care of because the in-game mission tracker is quite accurate. Though, there are some missions for which the game doesn’t give you any marker. The “Deputized” mission is one of them.

The Deputized mission assigns you quite a lot of objectives, and “Read Job’s Done Slate” is one of them. You get the mission from Marshal Daniel Blake, and after talking to Emma Wilcox in Akila City, you start the Deputized. After doing what Emma asks you, you “Travel to Waggoner Farm” on Montara Luna with her. There, you meet an NPC called Mikaela who tells you that she is being bothered by some people called Ruffians (Lol!). You follow the waypoint until you are at their location. After you “Confront the Ruffians”, and kill the Ruffian Leader. After you loot his body, your objective gets updated to “Read The Job’s Done Slate”. But the question is how?

Looking at the mission, you would think that you would have to go somewhere to read the Job’s Done slate, as it is for most missions in Starfield. But that is not the case here. In order to Read The Job’s Done Slate:

  1. Open your Inventory.
  2. Select Notes from the list.
  3. There you will find the “Job’s Done” slate.

  4. Just click on it to start reading.
  5. After you are done reading, your objective will get updated, and you will be tasked to talk to Emma Wilcox, who has been following you all this time.

You will also find a huge ship at that location, but you won’t be able to drive that yet. Finally, just get back to Mikaela, talk to her, and you will successfully complete the quest.
