Osteo Striga God Roll – The Strand subclass has finally arrived with Lightfall, and the Osteo Striga has once again become a popular pick for Strand builds.
Osteo Striga is a 600 RPM Submachine Gun that shoots projectiles, instead of bullets. The projectiles have decent tracking. And if you fire them somewhere around your enemies, they will seek them automatically. On top of that, the projectiles deal 5 damage per tick.
I have already covered an article on how to get the weapon. Now, let’s check out the rolls you should be targeting, the next time you are “Shaping” or “Re-shaping” the Osteo Striga.
Osteo Striga God Roll for PvE
Now, the idea of a God Roll can be different for different people. If you ask me, then an Osteo Striga PvE God Roll should be:
Intrinsic Perk | Screaming Swarm | Nothing to change here. |
Barrel | Fluted Barrel | For that nice Stability and Handling Speed buff. |
Magazine | Flared Magwell | In PvE, you do not need a lot of Range on your SMGs. Reload Speed is the way to go. |
Trait | Toxic Overload | Nothing to change here. |
Stock | Composite Stock | To increase the Handling Speed even more. |
Catalyst | Osteo Striga Catalyst | The Catalyst is mandatory, if you are going for a God Roll Osteo Striga. Poison Final Blows return ammo to your magazine. |
Osteo Striga God Roll for PvP
Again, the idea of a God Roll can be different for different people. If you ask me, then an Osteo Striga PvP God Roll should be:
Intrinsic Perk | Screaming Swarm | Nothing to change here. |
Barrel | Fluted Barrel | For that nice Stability and Handling Speed buff. |
Magazine | Accurized Round | “Accurized Rounds” is probably the best PvP magazine perk you can have on an SMG. |
Trait | Toxic Overload | Nothing to change here. |
Stock | Composite Stock | To increase the Handling Speed even more. |
Catalyst | Osteo Striga Catalyst | As I said, the Catalyst is mandatory, if you are going for a God Roll Osteo Striga. Poison Final Blows return ammo to your magazine. |
Remember, you have to use and level up your Osteo Striga to Level 10, in order to unlock all the mods and the Catalyst. Also, to unlock the Catalyst, you must have Ascendant Alloy x3, 140 Ruinous Element x140, and Neutral Element x2000, ready.
Yes, you can go ahead and craft the weapon without the Catalyst. But, I don’t think it is going to be as effective as it will be, with the Catalyst slotted in. So, I would recommend that you wait, until you have all the resources for the Catalyst. And then go and craft yourself the God Roll Osteo Striga.
Also, if you are split between the PvP and PvE version of Osteo Striga, and couldn’t decide which one to craft. I would suggest that you go for the PvP God Roll one. As you can easily use it in PvE, as well.

That’s all, folks!
