Season 23, the Season of the Wish, has finally arrived in Destiny 2, and with it has arrived a bunch of new Legendary weapons. One of them is Scalar Potential.
Scalar Potential is a 540 RPM Arc Pulse Rifle, with a Magazine Size of 35. Let us quickly take a glance at the stats of Scalar Potential:
- Impact: 23
- Range: 28
- Stability: 44
- Handling: 25
- Reload speed: 35
- Aim Assistance: 76
- Zoom: 17
- Airborne Effectiveness: 15
- Recoil: 53
I personally found Scalar Potential to be quite good in both PvE and PvP, to be honest. It is a 540 RPM Pulse Rifle, and that archetype is currently in the meta. With that being said, here are the PvP and PvE God rolls for Scalar Potential.
Scalar Potential God Roll – PvP
In my opinion, here are the best perks on Scalar Potential for PvP in Destiny 2:
- Barrel: Hammer-Forged Rifling (+10 Range)
- Magazine: Accurized Rounds (+10 Range)
- Trait #1: Keep Away (One of the best PvP perks for Pulse Rifle, atm)
- Trait #2: Headseeker (Again, one of the best PvP perks for Pulse Rifle, atm)
- Origin Trait: Dragon’s Vengeance
- Masterwork: Range
- Mod: Counterbalance Stock (To make the recoil more manageable)
Scalar Potential God Roll – PvE
With Overload Pulse Rifle being an Artifact Mod in S23, Scalar Potential has a lot of potential in PvE. If you want a PvE God Roll, here are the Rolls you should be targeting on Scalar Potential:
- Barrel: Smallbore (+7 Range, +7 Stability)
- Magazine: Flared Magwell (+15 Reload Speed, +5 Stability)
- Trait #1: Overflow (Picking up Special or Heavy Ammo automatically loads this weapon beyond normal capacity)
- Trait #2: Focused Fury/Golden Tricorn (Any damage perk will do)
- Origin Trait: Dragon’s Vengeance
- Masterwork: Handling (The Handling on this weapon is really underwhelming)
- Mod: Minor Spec

To get this weapon, you have to grind the current seasonal activities like Riven’s Lair. Once you have acquired Wish Weapon Focusing and added the weapon to your collections, you can directly focus the Scalar Potential from Spirit of Riven at the H.E.L.M using 4 Wish Engrams and 3000 Glimmer.
