Wargame rules
First and foremost, you need to know the Wargame Rules. Once you start a Wargame match in WWE 2K24, the game will brief you about the rules of the match. However, since there is too much going on in the game simultaneously, it might be challenging to keep it in mind, and you might lose track of the rules. Here are the rules for those unsure how wargame matches work –
- Three or Four Teams Per Side
- Each of the team members gets a chance to leave their cell and enter the ring/cage, and this depends on the timers
- Once everyone enters the ring, the announcer will announce, “Wargames has begun.”
- Remember that to win, you must pin only one person from the other team, unlike the Elimination chamber.
How to use Weapons in Wargames
Remember that Wargames Steel Match Games is a no-disqualification event, meaning you can get a weapon before entering the Cage. When playing the game in a single-player mode, all you need to do is
- Switch the controller to assign the wrestler who is entering the ring. The controller assignment can be changed from the Pause menu.
- Once you go down the steps to enter the ring, you will be prompted to press LB on Xbox or L1 on the PlayStation to grab a weapon from underneath the ring before getting into the cage.
How to use the Cage as a Weapon
You can use the Wargames Cage as a weapon to have an advantage and inflict significant damage on your opponent. All you need to do is
- Grab the opponent first and throw them into the steel cage: press B or the Circle Button to do it.
- Press and Hold the LB or the L1 Button and drag them towards the Cage.
- Press the X or the Square Button when prompted.
- All you need to do is perform a quick whip by holding down the B or Circle button + the L Stick together when standing close to the cage wall.
- Another way of using the cage as a weapon is by pressing the RB or the R1 Button + L Stick to climb the cage wall. Remember, you need to stand near the cage wall to climb it.
- Get to the top of the cage by pressing the RB or the R1 button from the top of the rope, and then press the B or the Circle Button to jump down.
- Alternatively, you can press the RB or R1 button again to stand up if you are straddled on top of the cage, and to perform the diving attack, press the A or the X button on your controller.
Force Forfeit Match
You can either gain victory by submission or pin fall. But in a Royal Rumble Event, you can eliminate your opponent by throwing them out of the cage, and it will force them to forfeit the match. All you need to do is
- Once all the wrestlers are in the ring, climb on top of the cage and fight the wrestler that is straddled up on top of the cage.
- Press your controllers’ RT or R2 button + A or X button to throw them off the cage.
