Helldivers 2 is great fun when played with you friends. But recently, we have been getting reports of players unable to join their friends and experiencing issues with the friends list.

How to fix Unable to Join Friends in Helldivers 2
You can try using the Friend code to make them join you rather than you adding them directly. The problem arises when you try to join your friends now from the Steam Friendlist or PSN Friend List. Adding them using the Friend Code instead of directly can be an excellent way to resolve this issue. All you need to do is
- Boot up the game.
- Go to the Social Tab from the Game Menu
- You will find four different options, i.e., Friends, Recent Players, Friend Requests, Blocked Players
- Apart from that, you will also find the Search Bar, which you can use to enter the code your friend generated and share it with you, and the “Your Friend Code” option, where you can generate your code to share it with them.
- Once you are done, add your friends, and you can invite them to your squad.
- You can also join them from the Friends Tab Tab itself.
If you think this is too much of a hassle, you need to wait for the developers to fix it and release and patch it. Right now, this is the only way to get around this issue. If you are still interested in playing online, you can try going solo or against random players.
