Who doesn’t like to fly in an open-world game? Well, Helicopters, airplanes, and fighter jets are too mainstream. Why not a Wingsuit? Yes, for the first time in the Saints Row series, we will explore the map using the Wingsuits. Using these Wingsuits is great; personally, I spent more time flying around than driving.
The much anticipated GTA Clone franchise is back with an all-new edition of Saints Row. The game is an open-world video game set in the fictional city of Santo Ileso. It is a 2022 reboot of the original Saints Row series. The game was published by Deep Silver and developed by Volition.
Since the game is an open world, you are free to roam around the world and the nearby dusty badlands either on foot or on a vehicle, including cars, helicopters, bikes, etc. But one of the iconic and newer additions to the game consists of a new Wingsuit which was absent for all the previous Saints Row installments.
The introduction of the wingsuit changes the game entirely as you will be gliding around the world in it at superfast speeds. But how do you get it and use it? So this article will guide you on how to get and use Wingsuit in Saints Row 2022 Reboot.
How to get Wingsuit in Saints Row 2022
Getting the Wingsuit in Saints Row 2022 is relatively straightforward. Continue playing the game, and as soon as you complete the tutorial, you will be able to unlock it. Remember that you can access the Wingsuit once you enter Open World mode.
You can use the Wingsuit automatically in midair if you want. Most players don’t realize that they have it until and unless they jump off a tall building or helicopter because there is no such indication that the Wingsuit got unlocked after the tutorials.
How to use Wingsuit in Saints Row 2022
Using the Wingsuit is simple. You can use it when you are jumping off from height. Once the game detects that you have reached a higher position from the ground, pressing the jump button will help you spread out the Wings and start gliding. This Wingsuit gliding is very similar to Just Cause and Batman Games. If you liked the gliding mechanism in those games, you would love it in this game as well.
You can also slow down your gliding by pressing the LT if you are on Xbox Controller, L2 if you are on the Playstation Controller and Cntrl if you are on a PC. This way, you can land properly and safely on the ground as the speed reduces and stabilizes, so you can land and walk smoothly all around.
Although there are several ways where you will be able to get to a higher level so that you can deploy your Wingsuit and glide around, you can take the elevators and get to the top of tall buildings and jump off from there. You can also jump out of the helicopters. You can also use the launch towers scattered around the city, launching you into the air so you can glide around simply by interacting with them. Remember that some cars have their own ejector seats you can use to get to a greater height. Use the Impulse Trap ability as well when you reach level 13.
