So how does this work, you ask? It’s quite simple, actually. If you’ve got a friend who has completed all the waypoints in the game, you’ll be able to complete all of yours from scratch in about 20-30 minutes tops. We’ll be covering the same later on in this guide. But before that, let us start with the very basic.
How to Teleport to Friend’s Location in Diablo 4
- Be in an already existing party with your teammate who has all the waypoints unlocked.
- Head to the waypoint of the main town in Kyovshad and other prominent towns in the game.
- Upon arrival, you’ll see a purple-colored (different from a normal blue) portal, which signifies that it’s a party member’s portal.
- Interact with it to get to your friend.
Moving on, the process for you to unlock all the waypoints is by teleporting after them as they travel the whole map. Here’s a detailed step-by-step guide on how you could make that work!
- Get into a party with your friend who has the waypoints unlocked. Either of you could be the party leader. It doesn’t really matter.
- Make your way by teleportation to Kyovshad. Find a purple portal there that’ll lead you to your friend’s location.
- While you do the (2nd) step mentioned above, ask your friend to teleport to one of the many waypoints that you’re looking to unlock.
- Stay nearby and follow the portal that your friend just followed through in order to get to the waypoint and unlock it.
- Now, just keep repeating the entire process (steps one, two, and three) for all the locations, and you’ll have all of those waypoints unlocked in about 20-30 minutes, depending on how efficiently you do it.
Once you’ve followed the procedure, and you’ve completed all the waypoints, you should notice that your map will contain a lot of blue dots/places on it, which signify the waypoints you’ve now acquired access to. With this, you’ll further be able to visit new areas, as per the campaign, and get around the map a bit quicker in general.
