You will be able to get your hands on many resources in Enshrouded, and Resin is one of them. Although it is a rare resource, you will be able to get it in the first few hours of the game if you know where and how to find it.
Once you know how to get Resin, you can farm it as much as you want and start collecting more for any recipes that you need to craft. But before getting your hands on Resin, you need to craft a tool and know exactly where to look for it. So this article will guide you on how to get Resin in Enshrouded.
How to get Resin in Enshrouded
To get the Resin, you first need to craft a Basic Axe. With the Axe that you have crafted, it will give you the option to chop down the trees. Chopping down trees helps you collect not only wood logs but resin as well.
So, first, let’s get started with the basic axe. These are the resources that you need to collect in order to craft one

You will be able to get these resources if you devote the first few hours to the Enshrouded. You will be able to get the Twigs by looting the green bushes. Furthermore, you can get Stone by mining it with a pickaxe, or you might find some in the grass. However, the string needs to be crafted using Plant Fibres.
After you have gathered the necessary resources, all you need to do is head to the Crafting Menu. You can open up this menu by pressing V, and you will find the Survival Tab as you scroll down the menu. Using the three ingredients i.e. Twigs, Stone, and String, you will be able to craft the Basic Axe.
Once you are done with the axe, take it to the nearby forest and chop down some trees with it. As you start chopping down the trees, you will find wood logs fall and gather around you. Collect those, but keep chopping more trees until you get the resource you are looking for Resin.
Remember that you can get Resin from the trees you chop, but it will be much more uncommon and rare than the wood logs you get. From our experience of playing this game for a couple of hours now, you will usually get a maximum of 1-2 resins per tree. The number of resin and wood logs you get also depends on the size of the tree.
