How to get MP60-R SMG in Remnant 2
To get the MP60-R SMG in Remnant 2, there are a few things that you’ll need to do. It starts with opening Ford’s Chest, where you’ll acquire the Cargo Key. Once you’ve got the Cargo Control Key, all you need to do is to go to the Dockyard and use that key to enter a small room that contains the MP60-R. Here’s a complete guide!
Ford’s Chest
Ford’s Chest is safe in the game that contains some decent loot for you and your friends to capitalize on, and to get the MP60-R, of course. It’s found in Ford’s office, located on the second floor of the main building in Ward 13. Get all the way through with the introductory and cinematic part of it, and once you’ve done so, just input a four-digit code (0415) into the Chest to unlock it. This code can be found scraped on your Flashlight that you’ll always carry.
You need to “Inspect” the Flashlight and rotate it once before you get on with it. Ford will provide the Flashlight to you quite early in the game, and you can straight up just head toward Ford’s Chest once you’ve got your hands on the same.
Cargo Control Key
Once you’ve managed to open Ford’s Chest, you’ll find a few items that also include a Cargo Control Key. This key will be used for a particular safe room containing the MP60-R. For the same, head to the Dockyard, Past the Metal Gates and the Containers and towards a small room. Use the key to open the room; inside, you’ll find the MP60-R.
Is it really worth the effort?
For starters, the MP60-R Machine Gun or you could also term it a machine pistol, is a pretty solid starter weapon. Its fire rate and magazine capacity are great for close/medium-range combat. Here’s some more information about the MP60-R.
