Frostbite Armor Zelda TOTK – The Legend of Zelda TOTK is an action-adventure game developed by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch Consoles. It is a single-player game that features adventures paired with a lot of action.
Among the number of Armor sets in the game to acquire, one of the hardest ones to get your hands on would be the Frostbite Armor set. This is merely because it can be very time-consuming to track down. To finally have it, there are three pieces that you need to find to complete the armor set, the headdress, the shirt, and the trousers.
So in this article, we will guide you on how you could get the Frostbite Armor Set in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
Frostbite Armor Set Location in Zelda TOTK
As we mentioned above, the parts of the armor set will appear at different places, away from each other, and to complete the set, you’ll have to visit several locations and collect the pieces. One thing that stays consistent in finding all three of these pieces is that all of them will be found in chests. Here’s where you can find those chests :
For the Frostbite Headdress
You’ll be able to find the Frostbite Headdress exactly northwest of Rospro Pass Skyview Tower. Use this location as the starter for both the Headdress and the trousers. Head up the tower, jump and glide to Lake Kilsie, specifically to the northern part of it, where you’ll be able to find the Kilsie Cave.
When at the cave, there’ll be a large gust of wind at the center of the cave. To bypass the same, you’ll be required to use your paraglider to reach the middle of the cave. Once there, you’ll find an area with destroyable rocks on the right side, which you can bypass using a bomb flower on an arrow. Use it, and you’ll find a chest containing the Frostbite Headdress behind it.
For the Frostbite Shirt
To get your hands on the Frostbite shirt, make your way to the southeast of Rito Village, specifically close to the lucky clover gazette. Make your way down the road towards your east, and from there on, make a right turn as you see the rock formation. You’ll see a pair standing outside a cave called the Brightcap Cave. The shirt will be inside this cave.
You’ll have to enter the cave and look for some thick bushes. Further, you’ll need a fire arrow with a fire fruit to shoot at it and clear how to open the chest.
For the Frostbite Trousers
As we said earlier, the starting point for the trousers and headdresses can be the same, Rospro Skyview Tower. Get onto the top of the tower and jump to glide towards the east to make your way beyond the Kebra Plunge; to the area, you will find multiple caves at a single location.
Northeast towards a river that you’ll see will be a cave for that particular river in Hebra Headspring; here, you’ll be able to find your Trousers.
Proceed into the cave and keep your right till you find a small opening; once you do, you’ll find a chest containing the frostbite trousers.
