The Rito Village is on the map’s northwest part and the Hebra Mountains’ southern side. In the game, if you start at the Central Hyrule, head northwest and continue. Then, follow the road from the Hyrule Ridge to the Tabantha Frontier. Alternatively, you can go into the Tabantha Tundra, towards the north of Hyrule Ridge and then head onto the west.
You must ensure that you have plenty of food or cold-resistant clothing in your inventory to protect yourself in the region. This is because the area is one of the toughest for players to survive, given the constant cold and difficulty in navigation.
How to cross the Broken Bridge to reach Rito Village in Zelda TOTK
The Lucky Clover Gazette is a notable landmark in the first locations outside the Rito Village. Upon reaching this landmark, you must converse with the person sitting next to the fire outside the Gazette. This will lead to a conversation about the blizzard and the broken road and how nobody has been able to get past it. They also discuss how when a pinecone is thrown into the fire, it creates a huge updraft and leads the papers surrounding them to fly.
This is precisely how you can enter Rito village. Simply find a pinecone and throw it into the fire, leading to a massive gust of air shooting up from the fire. Use the opportunity to shoot yourself up too, and then simply use your glider and glide across the bridge into the Rito village.
Upon reaching the Rito village, you will find a shrine called Gatakis Shrine. We suggest that you activate it so that you can create a fast travel point, and can thus reach the village whenever you have to.
