How to fix the Suicide Squad Controller not Working issue
Here are some tips and tricks we can suggest if you are facing controller issues in Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League.
Remove unused Controllers
If you have multiple controllers attached at a time, then you might face issues like Controllers not working. This is a pervasive issue, and we have had problems like these in a lot of games. It is also quite familiar with people using a collection of multiple types of controllers plugged in i.e. steering wheels, joysticks, Xbox controllers, PlayStation controllers, etc.
Use Wired Controllers
You can also try switching to a Wired Controller. Even though it is an era of Wireless controllers, you might not get lucky every time. So it’s best to keep a wired one, just in case. We are adding this suggestion to this list because a lot of players have raised similar complaints on Reddit and WB Forums regarding their controllers not getting detected or connected. We even had a similar issue, and we fixed it instantly by removing the unwanted controllers and plugging in a wired controller into the PC. Players using controllers that are connected over Bluetooth also get randomly disconnected in Suicide Squad KTJL, so it’s best to keep one handy.
Check if the Controllers are detected.
Double-check if all the controllers are properly connected or not. To do this first
- You need to open up the Steam App.
- Head over to the Settings
- Select the Controller Option, and you will find the connected Controllers
- Try testing out each of the device inputs by clicking on the Begin Test option
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting the controllers if they are not showing up.
- Once they show up, restart your PC and try running the game once again.
These problems mainly arise when wireless controllers are connected. You can try switching to a wired controller, as we mentioned earlier. You can also check out the Device Manager to see if the controller is showing up or not. To do that first open up the Windows Search Bar and Type Device Manager. Once the Device Manager opens up, check and see if your controller is showing up.
Disable Steam Input
You can load up the default profiles by disabling the Steam Input. Here is how you can disable the Steam input if you are not aware of the process.
- Boot up the Steam App from your Desktop
- Find Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League Game
- Right Click on it and Select Properties
- You will find an option that will say “Override for Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League.
If you find the option already disabled, then you can enable and start playing the game again. But remember that overriding the controller settings can break your game controllers, so always proceed with caution.
Switch to a new USB port or get a new controller.
If none of the above methods work, you can try switching to a new USB port on your PC. But your controller might be faulty, so the game fails to detect it. Try out the different games and see how the controller works. If not, then try to get a new one or switch to an older controller. Remember that you always prefer buying a Branded controller, not a Generic/local one. Branded controllers have support for all games, but generic or locally made gaming controllers might fail to connect with a lot of newer and fancier games because of their inability to install drivers on their own.
