Dragon’s Dogma 2: How to Reach high Ladders

You can take shortcuts in Dragon’s Dogma by accessing the ladders. But what about the ladders that are placed on an elevated ground? So, in this article, we will talk about reaching high ladders in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

How to reach high ladders in Dragon’s Dogma 2

Here are the four ways of reaching ladders in high areas.

Take another Route

You can take a different route to reach the ladders in the higher areas. This is because ladders are used as shortcuts to climb various locations. Remember that if you can’t find a way to reach a higher ladder in DD2, then you will need to find an alternative route.

Try using the Go Command.

You can also use your pawn to reach a higher area. Your pawns will point out the ladders on the higher areas and suggest ways to get them. Use the Go Command to start prompting them to follow the idea. Take assistance from your pawn, and it will reach the higher ladder itself with its Levivate Ability. Drop the ladder for you to climb. Your pawn will use the Springboard ability to boost you to that area. Remember that with the help of an exclamation mark on the map, you can say whether your pawn is suggesting something or not.

Use different vocational skills.

You can also use your vocational skills to reach the ladders placed on the higher grounds. Use Mage’s Levitate to move while you are in mid-air. This ability is perfect for crossing gaps over terrains. On the other hand, the springboard weapon skill will be accessible if you have a Fighter vacation. It will launch your ally into the air, allowing them to take down the aerial monsters. Make use of Vocation Guilds to change Vocations in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Get on a Flying monster.

You can also grab a flying monster and jump towards a higher ground. But I would particularly warn you to use this technique because it is unreliable and unnecessary, considering you have other options left that you can easily use to reach ladders in the higher areas. However, this method can be your final resort if you continuously fail to get the higher ground.

So that was all about reaching high ladders in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
