Borderlands 3 (BL3) – How to get Gargoyle

Gargoyle BL3 – Wondering where to farm for the Gargoyle in Borderlands 3? Here is a guide for you.

Borderlands 3 (BL3) – How to get Gargoyle

Gargoyle – Drop Location

Gargoyle drops from Dickon Goyle on Bloodsun Canyon at Gehenna. You obviously need to start the Bounty of Blood DLC in order to get access to the mentioned locations. Here is the exact location of Dickon Goyle :

Just Fast Travel to Bloodsun Canyon. The walk to the location of Dickon Goyle is a bit long from there. But don’t worry as there is a save point near the location. Dickon Goyle does not have any sort of shields or armor on it so eliminating it should be really easy. Just use a good Incendiary weapon.

Now regarding the drop rate of Gargoyle, I managed to get only 1 in 10 runs. I did 6 more runs after that but I didn’t get another one. So I am guessing that this weapon is a bit rare. I was farming at Mayhem 10 with TVHM off.

Gargoyle – Weapon Stats and Description

Lets take a look at the weapon stats of the Gargoyle. The one shown here is the Moar Ruhleejus Gargoyle (Level 60):

  • Manufacturer : COV
  • Damage : 4015
  • Accuracy : 75%
  • Handling : 58%
  • Repair Time : ~3.0s
  • Fire Rate : 8.97/s
  • Shots To Break : ~49
  • Red Text : Defender of the night.

Gargoyle is a pistol of the Legendary or Orange rarity in Borderlands 3. The weapon is a part of the third DLC called Bounty of Blood. And is one of the better Legendaries that this DLC has to offer. This DLC has brought some really great pistols in the game. Pistols like the Unkempt Harold or the Beacon, are really great additions.

The bullets from Gargoyle deal damage upon impact and they also explode dealing the exact same damage. This weapon is only available in Corrosive Element. The Gargoyle also shoots Corrosive blobs along with the normal bullets that deal very high damage.
