Below, we’ll be classifying every vest from the list to the best use that you could make of them, starting with the Overkill Vest, which is for brute damage output.
The Overkill Vest – Damage
One of the best perks the Overkill Vest provides is the ability to carry two primary weapons (Two primary weapon slots). That’s not all though, in MW3, if you’ve got the Overkill Vest equipped, you’ll also be able to reload while you sprint and you get sleight of hands ability along with it (only OGs remember this), which allows you to switch between the two primary weapons you’ve got faster.
The Infantry Vest – Movement
The Infantry Vest in Modern Warfare 3 will provide you with perks that affect your movement directly, it’ll allow you to max out your tactical sprint duration as well as the Refresh Time, which gets you the upper hand in close-combat situations. Just before you get any funny ideas, let us mention that the Infantry Vest does NOT stack with the Running Sneakers.
The CCT Comms Vest – Tactical
With the CCT Comms Vest, players can increase their Mini-map FOV and acquire data packs from enemies that help determine their locations by pinging them. The only disadvantage with the CCT Comms Vest you’ll have would be removing lethal and tactical perk slots. However, the vest makes up for it by replacing the same with a field upgrade- a pair of boots and gloves and one gear.

- The Engineer Vests- The Engineer Vest should be a player’s first choice if the application of the same is to create a Sniper Loadout.
- The Gunner Vest- The best application for the gunner vest is with heavier weapons- LMGs.
- The Demolition Vest- Ideally to be paired with long-ranged weapons.
