Safe Code Locations COD MW2 – The Safes in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 are filled with exclusive items that you can add to your arsenal. But finding them and cracking them open can be confusing.
There are a total of three safes that you can unlock in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Safes in Call of Duty are always known to reward you with the best rewards in the game, and once you unlock all three safes in the game, you will be able to get the Gentleman Thief Achievement trophy as well, so make sure you take your time and play through all the missions properly. So this article will guide you about all the Safe Code Locations and Contents in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
All Safe Code Locations and Contents in COD MW2
Safe Location 1
You will be able to find the first Safe Location in Mission 11 El Sin Nombre once you have made your way through Mexico, and you will be tasked with setting up a meeting with the El Sin Nombre, the Cartel Boss. You will be provided with a mask in the mission where you can roam freely, although the guards’ certain areas on the map are inaccessible and restricted.
To locate the first safe, go to the main entrance, exit the elevator, and walk straight until you find the open gate on the left. Get past the gate, and you will be able to find a balcony that you need to climb. Remember that you should not alert the guards by any chance because these areas in the mansion have restricted entry, and you will have to find your way up the staircase until you reach a room. Take down the two guards in the area. You will notice a guard standing on the patio in front of the space you need to enter.
Get down to the outside hallway and find a stripper lounge. Take a left and walk until you reach a door on your left. Go inside that room, and near the bed, you can locate the safe. Remember that this is Diego’s room. You can find the code by simply looking at the portrait near you.
The Code for the 1st Safe in COD MW2 is 02-02-19. Inside the safe, you will find a Lockwood 300 Shotgun and Armor Plates.
Safe Location 2
You will be able to find the second safe in Mission 13 Alone after Soap gets separated from Ghost and has no weapons with him. You will be injured and tasked with finding the crafting materials to manufacture items like Smoke bombs and the Pry Tools, which you use to get past all the locked doors and cases.
The safe is inside the cafe, where you must disarm a trap and get a shotgun. But make sure you don’t jump inside the room below because if you do, you won’t get out or go back. Get near the cafe’s entrance and use the pry tool to open the door. Inside the room, you will be able to find the safe.
Notice the 2020 calendar; you will see a bunch of numbers marked on the calendar. The 10th of October on the calendar is circled, and it is written 40th Birthday. So if you do a simple math here, it results in the 10th of October (10th month) and the 40th birthday from 1980 onwards. So it should be 10-10-80. Inside the safe, you will be able to find the Throwing Knife and a Silenced .50 GS Pistol, and these items are great when you are going complete stealth.
Safe Location 3
The third safe is located in the same Mission 13 Alone, and you will be able to find it in the later part of the game once you get to the Garage. You can locate the safe when heading to the back of the garage. But some guards might be waiting for you, so take them out first. It is pretty risky to go in with your guns blazing. Instead, we suggest you take the stealthy approach and ensure you don’t blow your cover.
Get inside the room, and you will find a combination code for the safe, which is 37-60-80. Once you open up the Safe, you will be able to find another Throwing Knife and Crossbow, which gets added to your stealth arsenal.
