NBA 2K23 Badges – Badges are back in NBA 2K23, and we have already tried out a couple of them, and they are fantastic. These Badges are incredibly vital when you progress through My Player Mode.
2K’s NBA is back again with their latest installment for 2023. The NBA 2K23 Simulation Sports Game was developed by Visual Concepts and published by none other than 2K. This game comes under the NBA 2K Franchise, and this year, the game is loaded with better content, graphics, and gameplay.
You can showcase your NBA Talents in My Career mode while pairing with the NBA Legends in the My Team mode. The game has been released on all major platforms. PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox and Nintendo consoles.
Like the previous years, 2K has repurchased the badges for NBA 2K23. These badges are handy, especially when you are playing the MyPlayer Mode. When upgraded and equipped, these badges provide special boosts that can change the tide of any game, whether you are online or even in MyCareer Mode. But what are these badges, and what does it do? Fearless Finisher | Decreases fatigue and boosts up contact layups |
Giant Slayer | Increases effectiveness of contact layups while decreasing fatigue |
Grace under Pressure | Boosting Standing shots near the basket |
Hook Specialist | Boosts the hook shot ability |
Limitless Takeover | Player start dunk or layup gather from a distance when attacking |
Lob City Finisher | Increased chances of completing a successful alley-oop dunk/layup |
Masher | Increases the ability to finish inside the layups over the defenders |
Mouse in the House | More chances of finishing when attacking a smalller defender |
Post-Spin Technician | Effectively improve for post spin or drive to work abilities |
Posterizer | Increases the chances of posterizing the opponent |
Pro Touch | Boost for good layup timing and aiming |
Putback Boss | Increases the shot percentage when after an offensive rebound you are attempting a putback |
Rise up | Chances of dunking the ball when standing inside the painted area |
Slithery | Easier movement through traffic without collissions and strips |
Tear Dropper | Avoid contact when attacking the rim |
Unstrippable | When the baskets are reduced there are chances to get stripped. |

Hand Down Man Down | Outside shooter gets more deadlier when the opponent fails to get the hand in the face |
Limitless Range | Shooters are more effective within any shot within 3PT range and this is one of the older badges returned in NBA 2K23. |
Rhythm Shooter | The Rhythm shooter boost % out of size up along with 1 step pull up as well |
Slippery off ball | Players ability to get open off the ball strengthens up |
Space Creator | Earlier a Playmaking badge, but now it also features the ability to hit the step back jumpers and the hop shots which will cause the defenders to stumble |
Stop and Pop | Boosts up the shot ratings on standing still three points especially after dribbling |
Volume Shooter | Increases the shot percentage as the shot attempts arise throughout the game. |

Worm | The Rebounders will have more success when swimming around and getting into a rebound position |
