Naydra (Frost Dragon) Location in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

This frost-breathing Dragon exists specifically in the West Necluda Region, on the East side of the hills. Naydra is supposed to be visible for hours from 12 AM to 6 AM in the game. However, you could also spot it any time of the game, as there’s a way to get there via the North Necluda Sky Archipelago. It will be tricky, but do it right, and you’ll find yourself on the Dragon in no time!

To finally be able to jump onto Naydra, though, you’ll have to wait till 9 PM in-game time. This is the time window when the Dragon descends from the sky into the East Hill Chasm. A good strategy would be to wait at the location around 8:30 PM and ensure you capitalize on the opportunity when possible!

One thing to know about Naydra is that you’ll be freezing as you approach or get onto him. Hence, you’ll have to get your hands on the cold resistance armor or carry and consume a lot of cold resistance food to survive while on Naydra. Lastly, your strategy should be to farm as many of Naydra’s scales and spikes as possible!

How to jump on a Dragon?

Two Skyview towers exist in the realm of Hyrule, and both could be used to get around the map. Further, you’ll have a couple of options, such as using sky rocks on the ground by using recall or building a vehicle using Zonai devices to mount one of the dragons.

These dragons won’t necessarily be on the surface, but usually in the depths or extremes of wherever you’ll be able to find them (depending on one Dragon to another, of course). They’re most likely to be found in depths and reach there using chasms around the area. In the case of Naydra, you’ll probably end up looking in the chasms!

Except for the light Dragon, all the other dragons in the game, including Naydra, have extremes related to them; you’ll have to take some precautionary measures before you approach them, so make sure you do them correctly!

Finally, for the materials, you’ll be able to get the scales as soon as you hit the Dragon’s body, and you’ll be guided with certain spots; upon hitting, you’ll be rewarded with horn and claw fragments from the Dragon. On the other hand, Shard Spikes can be found on the back of a dragon for you to pick them off quickly.

That’s everything there is to know about Naydra’s location and how you could jump onto it in Zelda’s Tears of the Kingdom.
