Where to find Elixir of Death Evasion in Diablo 4
Let’s start by looking at the effects of this Elixir. The Elixir of Death Evasion is a Special Elixir because, after consumption, you will instantly become immune for two seconds and prevent death once in the next 30 minutes. The cooldown timer for this particular Elixir is 5 minutes, and here’s a complete list of crafting materials you’ll need to craft an Elixir of Death Evasion.

How to unlock Elixir of Death Evasion in Diablo 4
First, you need to be playing at a Hardcore level of difficulty to craft the Elixir of Death Evasion, as we’ve mentioned earlier. Let’s say this condition is met; the next thing to do is to get its crafting recipe. This can be done by looting it when you get it as drops. You’ll have a chance to get the recipe of the Elixir of Death Evasion as a drop when/if you loot chests or kill enemies using a hardcore mode character.
Once you’ve managed to acquire the Elixir of Death Evasion recipe securely, all you need to do is to head to an Alchemist. Once there, interact with the Alchemist NPC, and while the shop menu is open, right-click on the recipe you’ve just acquired. Once done, a pop-up should probably appear on the top right of your screen, which will notify you that you can now visit the Alchemist to craft this Elixir.
NOTE: There’s another condition apart from the Hardcore mode requirement, and that is that you won’t be able to access the Elixir until your Hardcore Character reaches at least level 10
Let’s say you’ve crafted an Elixir of Death Evasion, but what next? Here’s how you can consume it! (Two Ways)-
- The first way is to consume it from the Inventory screen
You only need to craft 1x Elixir of Death Evasion and open up your Inventory screen whenever you want to consume it. It’ll be in one of your slots under the consumables tab. Click on it and consume it for it to start its effects. - The second way is to use a key bind
You can assign the Elixir of Death Evasion consumption process to your emote wheel and consume it using the same. Further, using key binds can be helpful as they might help you save a few seconds if you’re looking to consume this elixir while in combat. To do this, head to Options and your Controls tab to bind a hotkey to the wheel. Next, add the Elixir to that part of the wheel. Once you press the particular hotkey, your character will consume the assigned consumable.
