Be ready, though, as you’ll be facing a whole bunch of NPCs waiting to fight with you on the other side. Make sure that you eliminate everyone in the target ship, and once that’s done, walk up to the ship’s pilot seat and interact with it. If the ship’s grade is either B or C, you might be unable to fly it. To do so, you’ll need certain skills you can acquire through the game’s skill tree.
However, if you’ve got the skills required to fly the given ship, detach it from your previous ship and head to the closest Starport. The ship you’ve just left behind will be automatically added to your fleet, and you can retrieve it from any Starport. Lastly, head up to the Starport technician and interact with him to register a given ship. Select “view your ships” from the menu, and from here on, register the ship you’ve just stolen.
