Starfield: House of the Enlightened Chest Location

Players who want to locate the House of the Enlightened to get the Raised Enlightened chest must go to this area in the game ‘The Well’. Although the game has a lot of interesting Traits, only some are like the Raised Enlightened, one of the three religion-based Traits that the game offers its players. This trait promises its players free goodies, though it does not reveal much about the contents of the chest of the House of the Enlightened.

The following guide will guide players about the location of the House of the Enlightened chest and will also explain how, after opening the chest, they can remove the Raised Enlightened Trait. Even though locating the chest is tricky, the task becomes easier if the players know where to look. So, keep reading to find out!

Players must first locate the House of the Enlightened to find the chest. For this, as previously mentioned, they will have to head to ‘The Well’, a place the players will visit often during the main story mission. However, there are no restrictions, and players can even choose to visit the place immediately upon arriving in the city. To head to the Well, players must take any of the elevators they find in the MAST District and the Spaceport areas.

  • MAST District Elevator: This is inside the NAT station, where players take a right after they get off the train.
  • Spaceport Elevator: In the spaceport area, just to the right of the huge Viewport tower, players will see a small passage between the Terrabrew Coffee and the Jemison Mercantile buildings, where they can find the other one.

After players enter The Well, towards the area’s center, they will see the House of the Enlightened. As for the chest, players will have to head down behind Andy Singh, the steps, and thereafter, take a left. Remember that players must necessarily have the Raised Enlightened as an active Trait for the House of the Enlightened Chest to show up, like the Sanctum Universum chest.

The Chest contains the following things:

  • A few medical supplies
  • A few books that discuss the philosophies of the religion
  • The Inclement Weather Outfit(helps increase the health of the wearer by 10)

Truthfully, it is not a chest that players could be too excited to get, but it will sure prove to be handy during the initial stages of the game, and not to forget, something is better than nothing!

Removing the Raised Enlightened Trait in Starfield

To do this, players will have to take up a conversation with Andy Singh and then choose the option:

  • [Raised Enlightened] I’m not sure if I want to be a part of the Enlightened anymore.

Even though he will try to talk the player out of this decision, after a few dialogues, they will get to select the following option to remove this trait permanently:

  • [Remove Raised Enlightened Trait permanently] I can’t be a part of the Enlightened anymore.

Raised Enlightened or Raised Universal, which one is better?

Raised Enlightened or Raised Universal, which one is better

The contents of both chests are very different. However, players can look at both religions’ philosophies when discussing values. Here is what they represent:

The Enlightened: They focus on the values of love, understanding, peace, and humanity that work together towards a better tomorrow rather than believing there to be a god.

The Sanctum Universum: They believe a god exists somewhere in the vast space and hope to find them someday.

That pretty much sums up all that there is to know about the House of Enlightened Chest Location in Starfield.
