How to Remove Electric Shock, Overheat, Decay, and Contamination in Lies of P
Different enemies in the game will end up putting all kinds of Ailments on the protagonist- Pinnochio- which could prove very problematic very soon. As mentioned earlier, you’ll deal with four kinds: Overheating, Decay, Contamination, and Electric Shock. If your character has any of these statuses applied on, with the bar of it being full or close to it, you WILL lose health quickly.
To remove them is a simple process: acquiring an item, Attribute Purification Ampoule. This is a one-stop solution for all of the above status attributes, as it’ll simply remove any of those once you’ve consumed the Ampoule. To acquire it could be a moderately time-consuming task, though, as various modes can acquire this item. First, you could stumble across one of these in Krat as a random spawn. The Ampoule is also known to drop from enemies, but that isn’t a promised way of getting it.
This leads us to the final way, which is to purchase it from certain vendors across Krat, which does promise that you’ll be getting one of those, but to locate one of those Vendors, well, we leave that to you. Once you’ve got your hands on one of these to use, all you need to do is open up the menu and locate your upper/lower belts. Once here, find an empty slot, and from the prompt that’ll appear once you’ve selected the slot, select the Attribute Purification Ampoule by pressing X to equip it to the slot.
You can exit this once you’ve equipped it to your belt. Once you need to use it, press the D-pad or the Down button to enter into the prompt. Select the Ampoule and consume it by pressing the Square button on your controller. Once that’s done, you’ll lose every bit of Attribute Status inflicted upon you by an enemy, by the Ampoule creating a resistance for the given status.
