Crossplay in Atlas Fallen – Developed by Deck13 Interactive and Published by Focus Entertainment, Atlas Fallen is an ARPG released very soon! The game’s available to pre-order on Steam and supports all mainstream platforms such as Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
The game is available to pre-order, raises a few questions for players interested in its concept. For instance, does the game support Crossplay? Does it support Multiplayer? These are quite valid questions that any player would want an answer to before they pre-order a game, and if you’ve got the same questions about Atlas Fallen, keep reading as we cover everything there is to know about it!
Is there Crossplay in Atlas Fallen?
If you need Crossplay since you’ve got friends that use other consoles/platforms, sadly, Atlas Fallen isn’t for you! In a tweet a few days ago, Focus Entertainment mentioned that the game will not support crossplay. However, the game is multiplayer. This means you can play with your friends on the same platform as you do! However, if you’ve got a PC and your friends are mainstream console players, you probably won’t be able to play the game together.
While that’s a major con, the trend with many games lately has been the same. There haven’t been a lot of games released in 2023 that support Crossplay, as that could lead to a different genre of issues that the game devs will need to face. This could be the reason- a part of it, nobody knows! Nevertheless, it would’ve been a great feature to unite the PC and Console gaming community further again!
Further, the fact that Atlas Fallen does not have crossplay will most likely not change. However, nobody knows! Maybe it will get added to the game with a future update – eventually, but that’s something that cannot be predicted just yet.
Finally, as with other multiplayer options, the game will not support split-screen or local multiplayer either, meaning there’s only one conventional multiplayer option: online and on the same platform. While this may cause a lot of people to back out of purchasing the game, we still recommend that if you like the concept of the game even a little bit, you should probably go for it! The game’s all set to be released on the 10th of August, 2023, so make your decision quickly!
