Being able to explore the world freely would simply provide a much better and a different experience, not to mention the basic hardware requirements that the game has. One might expect it to be open-world. As was the case with the game’s predecessor fallen order, Jedi: Survivor is expected to provide players with access to different planets, which could be done with the mantis, of course.
You’ll definitely be able to experience a bit more of the Star Wars realm, given that there won’t be backtracking anymore, but still, the short answer would be no. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor isn’t open world, but one could say that it provides an experience that’s quite similar to it being an open world in the first place. Further, the game will include a bunch of side quests that would distract you from the main story line, which may feel like the game’s offering an open world.
The conclusion is that it isn’t really an open-world game, however, even the limited extent of the same could absolutely be worth it. Visit the galaxy before you make your decision! The game is also expected to become available for game pass owners eventually. The same would take place by the end of this year or early 2024. That’s a win in our books!
