Imperial Decree God Roll Guide – Destiny 2

Imperial Decree God Roll Lightfall – Amongst the many sunset weapons that have been brought back by Bungie is the Imperial Decree. For the ones who aren’t aware, the weapons with a power level cap are called sunset weapons. These weapons have been brought back with some changes, most of which just make the weapon better and deadlier. Given the same, in this article by Frondtech, we’ll be guiding you with some rolls that you guardians need to consider as you farm the Imperial Decree shotgun in Destiny 2’s Lightfall. Keep reading!

Imperial Decree Base Stats:

  • Impact: 80
  • Range: 29
  • Stability: 29
  • Handling: 31
  • Reload Speed: 34
  • Aim Assistance: 35
  • Zoom: 12
  • RPM: 55

Imperial Decree PvP God Roll

It’s a shotgun that definitely does pack a punch. However, one thing it lacks is Range and Handling. It would always be beneficial to increase the range and handling by as much as you can. Hence, opting for options such as Opening shot and keeping the barrel on Barrel Shroud would allow you to increase the gun’s capabilities efficiently.

  • Barrel: Barrel Shroud
  • Magazine: Accurized Rounds
  • Trait #1: Slideshot
  • Trait #2: Opening Shot
  • Origin Trait: To Excess
  • Masterwork: Range
  • Mod: Quick Access Sling

Imperial Decree PvE God Roll

One wouldn’t really expect boss-level damage output by a shotgun, and hence the same is usually used against orange-bar enemies, but of course, this is quite subjective. Reducing the spread always helps, and going with full choke is absolutely worth it. The Imperial Decree will be the most efficient with the following rolls:

  • Barrel: Full Choke/Corkscrew Rifling
  • Magazine: Tactical Mag
  • Trait #1: Auto-Loading holster
  • Trait #2: Surrounded
  • Origin Trait: To Excess
  • Masterwork: Reload Speed
  • Mod: Major Spec

Imperial Decree God Roll - Lightfall

How to get Imperial Decree in Lightfall?

For starters, you won’t just find it lying around in the open world. You will have to run some errands. Make way to the H.E.L.M. and focus defiant engrams into Recovered Leviathan Weapons at the war table to get this gun. Anyone who follows the same will either get a sword or the Imperial Decree shotgun, depending on what class the player is in. Another way to get the weapon is to craft it simply as it also has a Deepsight Resonant Variant that drops by focusing on defiant engrams, as we’ve covered earlier, but the drop rates are quite slim.

Finally, this is at least one of the best kinetic shotguns in the game for PvP, if not the very best. With the rolls we’ve mentioned above, you could get the maximum out of this shotgun and truly leave an impact in PvP or PvE battles.

That’s everything we had on the Imperial Decree shotgun’s god rolls in Destiny 2.
