If you think you do, keep reading this article as we guide you on how to Unlock World Tier 4 in Diablo 4!

How to Unlock World Tier 4 in Diablo 4

World Tier 4 (Torment) is the highest level of difficulty in the game, as we’ve mentioned, but at the same time, it also means that you’ll be rewarded with the best kind of loot. You will also be getting the highest amount of XP that’s possible. World Tier 4 is basically what you need to get to the maximum, that is, level 100 in the game, and without further ado, here’s how you can unlock it!

To have a Chance to unlock World Tier 4, you first must have access to Tier 3: Nightmare. You can do this by completing the Nightstone Dungeon, which only becomes available once you’ve completed the game’s main storyline. You need to complete this cycle, as even for Tier 3, you’ll have to complete the storyline with at least one character on World Tier 2. You only need to do this once, as you can skip the campaign once the storyline is completed with at least a single character.

The fastest possible way by which you could unlock World Tier 4 is by completing the Fallen Temple Capstone Dungeon while on World Tier 3. This Dungeon can be found on the Northeastern side of the Dry Steppes Area. This Dungeon could be termed as one of the toughest to complete, if not the toughest, as it’s recommended that you attempt to complete it only if your character is around or above level 70. You could also attempt to complete it with your friends, but you and all your friends must have World Tier 3 unlocked beforehand.

Once you’ve defeated all the enemies in this Dungeon, you’ll have the option to select World Tier 4, and this can be done at the Inarious statue in Kyovashad; you might as well change it from the game’s menu, but if you’re in a party, all of you need to have World Tier 4 for it to take effect. That’s all there is to how you could do this; this ensures you’ve got the best possible endgame with the best loot available!

Now that you know how to do it, here’s what’ll change if you opt for World Tier 4 in Diablo 4!

Enemies get a buff if you opt for World Tier 4, which means that those monsters could pierce up to 40% of a player’s resistances now. This means you might have to look for better gear, as the old ones you’ve got from Tier 3 may not do the job anymore!

One category that’ll only drop in World Tier 4 is “Ancestral Items”; these are by far the best. Further, with World Tier 4, Monsters tend to give 200% of the experience you’d get at Tier 3 and a total of 15% more gold. It takes a lot to put up with this level of difficulty!

That’s everything we had on unlocking World Tier 4 in Diablo 4.
