Although, you cannot unlock HBK using Virtual Currency. But instead, you will have to unlock it by defeating him in a Showcase match. Unlock Shawn Michaels in WWE 2K22 Showcase Mode
You can unlock Shawn Michaels by beating him in a Showcase match, while you would have to complete all the thirteen different objectives to do so. These objectives are pretty much straightforward, so getting them right won’t be an issue for you. Although, if you are having trouble difficulties figuring out how to complete the objectives, you can pause the game and take a look at the hints and tips.
Apart from unlocking Shawn Michaels, you will also be unlocking the RAW arena 2005 and a different version of Ray Mysterio along with it. The thirteen different objectives need to be completed to unlock the 12th Showcase match which would also grant you 3500 VC, different costumes and two WWE Superstars on completion.
How to complete the Showcase 3 match objectives in WWE 2K22?
These are the objectives that you need to fulfil to complete the Showcase 3 Match (Rey Mysterio Vs Shawn Michaels)
- Shawn might think he can outwrestle you, so perform a Light Grapple Attack in the ring to start things off right!
How to complete the objective – While you and your opponent are in the ring, you can initiate a grapple by pressing the Circle button or B Button and pressing the Square button or X all together with the left analog stick turned in any direction. - It’s earl, so HBK’s got plenty of fight. Wear him down with some damaging offense in the ring!
How to complete the objective – Damage Shawn Michaels till your bar fills up. - Another Front Light Grapple to Shawn in the ring oughta slow him down!
How to complete the objective – While you and your opponent are in the ring, you can initiate a grapple by pressing the Circle button or B Button and pressing the Square button or X all together with the left analog stick turned in any direction. - Take advantage of any opening! HBK will be rocked if you can land a Springboard Attack from the apron while he’s standing in the ring!
How to complete the objective – While Shawn Michaels is standing inside the ring, press R2 or RT to climb up the apron. And then you will have to press and hold L1 or LB and then Press the Square / X button. - You cannot let HBK breathe in there. Cover him and go for the pin!
How to complete the objective -Knock Shawn Michaels down and, while standing near him, flick the right analog stick. - He’s trying to mount a comeback, but a Light Combo to HBK in the ring should stop that short!
How to complete the objective – Press Square or X four times will make Rey Mysterio perform a light combo. - This is no time to rest! Irish Whip Shawn into the ropes!
How to complete the objective – While you and your opponent are in the ring, you can initiate a grapple by pressing the Circle button or B Button. Press the Circle or B button again while turning the left analog stick in any direction. - If you can send Shawn into the corner, you should throw a Front Running Corner Attack at him to take his wind!
How to complete the objective – You can Irish Whip Shawn Michaels and corner him. Run towards Shawn by pressing the R2 or the RT button and when you are close you can press the X or the Square button. - Perform 2 Grab Combos on Shawn in the ring, he won’t see them coming!
How to complete the objective – You have to press Square Square and then circle if you are on PlayStation or X, X and then B if you are on Xbox. - While you’re at it, Perform 2 Heavy Combos to Shawn Michaels in the ring, too!
How to complete the objective – You can perform two heavy combos in the ring by pressing the Square, X, X and X for PlayStation and X, A, A, A for Xbox. - Turn up the pace and perform a Front Running Grapple to Shawn Michaels in the ring!
How to complete the objective – Start running towards Shawn Michaels by pressing the L2 or LT button, and press the Circle button or B button when close. - 2 Heavy Running Attacks to Shawn in the ring might help stop his show!
How to complete the objective – Start running towards Shawn Michaels by pressing the L2 or LT button and pressing the X or A button repeatedly. - Now he’s winded, so Irish Whip Shawn Michaels to the ropes! You got this!
