The Camp is a resting place for players in Baldur’s Gate 3. You can access the camp from the Map or the Character Interface. The Camp features a lot of useful options for the players like resting, storing extra items, and companion interaction.

These are the ways to reach the camp in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Fast Travel

First, you need to access the in-game Map menu by pressing the M button on your keyboard. From the list of waypoints choose the Camp option and use the fast travel feature to reach the camp quickly. The list will be on the right side of the screen.

Via Character Interface

You can also go to the Character Interface and click on the Bonfire Icon. That will open up the Camp and Resting Menu. Simply select the Go to Camp and you will reach your Camp.

Long Resting is not required

Remember that you do not need to take a long rest to reach your camp. You can visit your camp at any point in time you want as all the camps in Baldur’s Gate 3 acts as a common inventory space and also a hub for all the interactions in the game.

Perform a Long Rest

You can perform a long rest at your Camp. Performing a Long rest replenishes your hit points and spell points for both you and your party. You will have to spend a total of 40 Camp Supplies to take a long rest.

Traveller Chest

The Camp also features a Traveler’s Chest. This is a storage that you can use to restore your weapons and to avoid overfilling your backpack that you don’t need for the time being. The Travellers Chest has an unlimited storage area and thus you can use that to store the extra explosives, weapons and armour.

Companion Interaction

You will also be able to interact with your companions better in your camps. After performing long rests or completing a certain portion of the game, some of your companions will have new and unique dialogue options and those options can only be accessed when you are at a Camp.
