In a game as competitive as Modern Warfare 3, you’ll need to capitalize on every single advantage you could have over your enemy, and let me assure you, if you master the Tactical Stance, you’re in for a treat!
Modern Warfare 3’s combat mechanics have just received an all-new addition; the Tactical Stance and this could be ground-breaking as it’d essentially change how quickly you could react to being shot at, but what is this stance?
How to get Kills while in Tactical Stance in Modern Warfare 3
To put it in simple terms, you’re said to be in a Tactical Stance when you’re somewhere between Aiming Down Sight (ADS) and standard hip fire, and a way to identify it is when your character holds the gun sideways, while it seems like you’re going for a standard hip fire. But, is it worth it?
This is quite a subjective question; it all comes down to your playstyle and preferences. However, you’d have some advantages over other players. Added accuracy while not restricting your vision, which means the stance is a perfect middle-ground between hip fire and ADS, eliminating the disadvantages of both factors. Along with these, you’d also be rewarded with some added movement speed while in the stance. With all of that being said, here’s how you could perform the Tactical Stance in Modern Warfare 3-
How to perform it
The system-assigned defaults to performing a tactical stance are your ADS button pressed with the down button on your D-pad for PS5, and for PC, it is right-click followed by V. But of course, there’s a way you could change it. To change it, open your settings and head to the gameplay tab.
That isn’t everything there is to it; you’ll also have a choice for the “stance behavior”, which refers to its activation method, once you press the button (there are multiple options in here, too):
- On Respawn
- On Toggle (default)
- Once
It’s recommended that you keep it “On Toggle” as that would allow you to use it as many times as you’d like by pressing the buttons you choose from the options above. Still, again, I recommend you test yourself to find the perfect combination of these options that suits your playstyle.
