Yeah, so, you’ll probably have a receiver you get once you craft a research table in the game, this is essential, you’ll probably need this to obtain other kinds of stuff too, so now if we have that out of the way, you’ll need to search for “Green Islands” on the receiver. Just a reminder, that normal islands differ from green ones.
Now once you’ve gotten to a green island, the first and foremost thing you need to do is keep an eye out for sharks and get that obstacle out of the way as soon as possible, the quicker you do this, the better chances you have to make it out in one piece.
Next, you have to locate a poison-puffer fish, now why do you need to do this? Cause eliminating a poison puffer will grant you explosive goo. How do you eliminate a poison puffer you ask? Just simply attack it with 4-5 arrows, and you’ll be good to go.
One last step you need to take is to return to the land and simply toss the Explosive Goo into a smelter you probably have, and voilà! You now have Explosive Powder in Raft!
Now, there is an unorthodox way to obtain Explosive Powder, for which, you’re going to need a lot of luck. Looking out for suitcases and safes throughout the open world, these have a thin drop chance for Explosive powder, not that it makes sense IRL but still, you should probably look out for these.
