Spider-Man 2 is finally out and players have jumped into the game, all across the world to try being Peter and Miles in the Spidey World. In the game, Peter Parker is the one who eventually gets access to Symbiote powers. If you want to find out when you will unlock it, you are at the right place.
In Insomniac’s early promotional material for the game, it was revealed that it would be Peter Parker in the game who would be gaining access to the ‘Black Symbiote suit’. This suit will give him the iconic anti-hero in the Spider-Man world, that is Venom’s powers. As for Miles, he won’t be getting this special power of Harry Osborne. However, this does not mean that Morales will be any less special or have unique powers on his own.
How do you get the Black Symbiote suit?
The only way for this is to simply play through the game and keep progressing in the main storyline. You will acquire the power of the Symbiote during your main story mission named ‘Good Men’. However, we don’t want to spoil any of the experiences for you and go about how Peter will get this power in actuality. Note that as PS5 owners(given that as of now you can only play the game on this console), when you get the Black Symbiote suit, you will also earn a Bronze trophy called ‘A New Suit’. When you get this, you will now be one step closer to receiving the Platinum one.
Symbiote Powers Skill tree: Upon Peter receiving the unique Symbiote powers, you will see a change in his skill tree. This change would be that the left part of this tree would start opening. Note that there are 10 skills that now open up that will cost you skill points like the other skills and will be specific to the Black Suit only. However, this does not mean that to use the power you need to be wearing the suit.
A small tip that I would give you is that if you want to gain Skill points, the only way to do so is to level up, that, too, has a cap of 60 levels. You level up by gaining XP, so simply keep getting things done on the NYC map.
Symbiote Strike will be the first of the 10 skills that you will unlock. This skill will allow you to ‘strike’ towards your foes, basically collecting all of them, followed by simply launching them into the air to deal them damage.
