Traditionally, to close a bug hole, you need to throw a grenade inside it. Grenades or other explosive weapons will work if you run out of grenades. Typically, you start with four grenades and should hold onto them until and unless necessary. You only need to spot a bug nest and equip a grenade. Walk towards it, throw it inside the hole, and ensure you are not inside the blast radius. Run away from the hole to be extra safe.

If you are out of grenades or explosives, you will not have many options to destroy the Terminid Nests in Helldivers 2. You can ask one of your teammates to close the holes if they have grenades to spare. You can use Stratagems or Weapons to destroy the Nests without Grenades in Helldivers 2.
