Wondering how to check your ping or enable fps counter in COD Vanguard? Don’t worry, we got you.

How to Check Ping and Enable FPS Counter in Call of Duty (COD) Vanguard

Having an idea about the framerate you are getting, and your ping or server latency in games, is essential. Especially in PvP games, because 50% of your performance will depend on the ping you are getting. Being a good player won’t matter much, if your opponents are moon walking in front of you, and couldn’t even get your shots to register properly.

How to check ping or latency in COD Vanguard

The process is quite simple. Just because the feature is a bit hidden inside the huge settings menu of COD Vanguard, people are having a tough time finding it. Here is how to do it:

  1. Launch COD Vanguard
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Click on the Interface tab
  4. Scroll down to Telemetry settings
  5. Set ‘Server Latency’ to ‘Shown’

  6. You can also set ‘Packet Loss’ to ‘Shown’ as well
  7. Set ‘Telemetry Label Size’ to ‘Larger’, if you want the display to be bigger than the default

And that is all you need to do. Start a match, and look in the top-left corner of your screen. You should be able to see your ping and packet loss percentage.

How to turn on FPS Counter

COD Vanguard allows you to enable FPS counter right from the game. So, you do not need to depend on third-party apps to see your frame rate while playing the game. All you have to do is:

  1. Launch COD Vanguard
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Click on the Interface tab
  4. Scroll down to Telemetry settings
  5. Set ‘FPS Counter’ to ‘Shown’

  6. I would recommend that you set your ‘GPU Temperature’ to ‘Shown’ as well

And that is all you need to do, to enable the fps counter in COD Vanguard.
