Fix Armored Cored 6 Easy Anti Cheat Error 30005

Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon is finally here on all major platforms, and it has already picked up pace, with almost 60,000 players playing the game on Steam now. The game is an excellent offering from FromSoftware, no doubt about that. But that doesn’t change the fact that the PC version of Armored 6 has a lot of issues.

Now, if you don’t know, Armored Core 6 comes with Easy Anti-Cheat, which is malfunctioning for a lot of players. Some players are getting this Easy Anti Cheat Error that says: 30005 StartService EasyAntiCheat EOSSys failed with 1275. There are already some posts dropping similar to this one:

Easy Anti Cheat Issue: 30005 StartService EasyAntiCheat EOSSys failed with 1275
Are you serious? Never had issue with EAC in a game and now this?
Any solution please because im not droping my security because of EAC….
A lot of users are commenting on these posts as well, as this issue is not letting them start the game. Now the question is, is there a fix?

How to Fix the Easy Anti Cheat Error 30005 in Armored Cored 6

To fix this issue we will have to go back to the time when Elden Ring was released. People were facing an issue similar to this back then as well. And surprisingly, the fix to that issue from almost two years ago still holds up. This fix comes from a Steam user called /KashraFall:

I actually fixed it by disabling the Kernel-mode Hardware-enforced Stack Protection in the Core Isolation menu, However I’m not sure how safe it is when it’s disabled. <– from microsoft’s official support for someone having issues with that error code on Rust.

Basically, this error mainly happens with Windows 11 users. This 30005/1275 error is caused by a new Windows 11 feature called kernel stack protection. It is incompatible with EAC, and the only workaround at the moment is to deactivate the “security” feature. Here is what you need to do:

  • Type “core isolation” into your search bar in the taskbar to click on the result to open the Core Isolation Menu.
  • Deactivate kernel stack protection.
  • Restart your PC.

I don’t personally recommend this fix, as it requires you to disable your security features. But this is the only working fix that is available at the moment. Every other fix available around the internet is most probably bait.

If the problem you are facing is serious, go here and submit a ticket to Bandai Namco Support.
