F1 22 No Sound or Audio Bug fix

F1 22 no sound or audio fix – If you are experiencing sound issues in the PC version of F1 2022, then you can come to the right place. A lot of reports are coming in regarding this. So don’t worry, you are not alone.

F1 No Sound or Audio Bug

F1 22 is finally out on PC, PS5, PS4, XBO, and XBX. Being the 15th entry in the F1 series, F1 22 offers a raw racing experience. It is also the official video game of the 2022 FIA Formula One World Championship.

Due to new regulations implemented exclusively for the Formula One World Championship 2022, the cars have been completely revamped. And now they feature new models and reworked physics.

The game seems to be doing quite well as of now. The number of players playing the game is nothing crazy as usual. But as a fan of racing games, I am loving it so far.

Don’t get me wrong, F1 22 is an awesome game. But it is riddled with bugs, glitches, and technical errors, at the moment. Though, the people at Codemasters, are constantly on their toes, to fix the issues, at the moment. There are some errors that need to be addressed immediately.

Anyway, In this article, I am taking a look at an error or bug in F1 22, that has to be one of the annoying ones. It is the “no sound” or “no audio” bug. So what is up with this ‘no sound’ bug? Well, It is a bug that a lot of F1 22 PC players are currently experiencing in the game. The bug is causing the game to go completely mute. The issue is more prominent in versions different from English.

F1 22 Audio Settings PC

How to Fix the No Sound or No Audio bug in F1 22

  1. Right-click the speaker in your system tray (windows taskbar, lower right).
  2. Open Sound Settings.
  3. Under the Sound Tab, make sure your Output Device is the device you wish to hear the sound on.
  4. Disable every other Audio Device that is not in use. There is a bug in Windows 10 at the moment, that causes the sound output to get changed whenever a controller is plugged in.
  5. Start F1 22 and see if you are getting audio or not.
  6. If this doesn’t work for you, Go to the Steam Library
  7. Go to F1 22 > Right-click > “Properties” > “Language”
  8. Change language to “English” and close the tab
  9. Repeat the process, but this time pick your language

Make sure that you have Spatial Sound or Windows Sonic off. Windows Sonic is a bit buggy at the moment. If you are an Oculus Rift user, then make sure that you have the Oculus Audio Device disabled on Windows, when you are not using it. This is causing audio issues for a lot of people. F1 22 Audio Stutter fix

So it looks like some PC users are experiencing a bug where the audio or sound in F1 22 is stuttering heavily. If you are on a PC, to fix the stuttering all you have to do is go back to the desktop (close the game completely) then head to your audio settings. Set whatever you are using (Headphones, speakers etc.) to the main audio device and re-launch the game. This fixes the issue instantly.

This is the only working fix that I know of, at the moment. If you know a different fix, let everybody know in the comment section. Also, many websites will ask you to reinstall drivers. Do not do that! If there is an issue with your audio driver, your whole PC will get affected, and not only F1 22.

If you think this guide has helped you then let us know in the comment section below. Also, if you are facing other problems with the game then try checking out our other guides on F1 22. Who knows, you might end up finding a fix.

That’s all folks!
