Remnant 2 Crossplay – A lot of players have been wondering whether the game Remnant 2, which is one the most exciting co-op shooter of the year, will be having crossplay or not so that the players across platforms like Xbox, PlayStation, and PC can squad up against the evil in the game.
The Crossplay feature in Remnant is something that many players have been hoping for as it is always a blessing when players get to play with their mates across different platforms, as it is not always possible to grab the same platform. So crossplay becomes an important feature for those who will be trying to play the game with friends across Xbox, PC, and PS5 to take down a range of bosses and stop reality from being destroyed by evil.
Will Remnant 2 support Crossplay or not?
The crossplay support for Remnant 2 has not yet been confirmed by the game’s developers, Gunfire Games. However, the game’s players can expect the feature to be in the game in some form because the first Remnant game did have limited Crossplay support between certain platforms.
Even though the game might have the look of many AAA titles and have the same scope, the team making it is fairly small. Even though the Crossplay support has no confirmation, this will likely change for the game’s release. This will get clearer if we take a look at the previous titles.
The game Remnant: From the Ashes did have some crossplay as the players of Xbox and PC could team up. However, the PlayStation ecosystem of consoles was left out. The players of PS4 and PS5 could pair up but couldn’t fraternize with the PC or Xbox console players. Even when this game came to Game Pass, the players who used varied launchers on their PC could interact.
All of this means, or points, that the game Remnant 2 will hopefully have Crossplay, at least to a certain degree. However, if this feature will make or break the game for you, we suggest you hold out until there is more information before you get a pre-order. However, do keep in mind that we are not expecting cross-progression if you plan on doing so.
Why should there be Crossplay in Remnant 2?
Players want to have crossplay for every game they like the look of, but some games just fit it better. Even though the game will have online co-op, given that it is not a competitive shooter, doubts like PC versus any controller should not be an issue. It is also sensible to run with a full team, being assured that you can rest easy, trust and rely on your team instead of tirelessly hopping and hoping for good teammates. So, keep an eye out for any such updates on the game.
